Thomas Abeli (Associate Professor BIOS/01C): I am a plant ecologist and conservation biologist. My research focuses on the conservation of rare and threatened plant species and the effects of global change on plants.

Andrea Mondoni (Associate Professor BIOS/01C): I am a plant ecologist, with a particular interest in alpine plants, germination studies on spontaneous flora, the impacts of climate change, and ex situ conservation of plants in germplasm banks.
Simone Orsenigo (Associate Professor BIOS/01B): I am a systematic botanist who studies taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships in critical groups of vascular plants (e.g., Hieracium), as well as the conservation of threatened species in alpine and tropical ecosystems.
Graziano Rossi (Full Professor BIOS/01C): I am a botanist and plant ecologist. My teaching and research interests range from geobotany,
plant ecology, and plant conservation (particularly ex situ). My research includes wild plants, crop wild relatives, conservation varieties, and edible plants, as well as experimentation with new crops.
